Join Dr Michael Hahn, Dr Eleanor McLaughlin and Ruth Gledhill for a webinar on themes in the life and works of St Francis of Assisi to examine how they are useful in conversations about the Church, theology and faith today.
Dr Michael Hahn will explore Francis in his own time and introduce themes of disability, ecology and art in the early Franciscan tradition.
Dr Eleanor McLaughlin will discuss how Francis’s writing on these themes fit into modern theological studies of these topics.
Michael is a medieval theological historian working on the early Franciscan mystical traditions.
Eleanor is a theologian working on Dietrich Bonhoeffer and disability theology.
Ruth Gledhill is assistant editor of The Tablet. She is a former religion affairs correspondent for The Times.
