God Incarnate: Reflections on the Nativity
Bring your own popcorn! This Nativity series produced by the BBC provides a very human portrayal of the Nativity narrative. Together we will watch the four episodes and invite discussion on our responses to the human telling of the birth narratives from the Gospels of Luke and Matthew.
These evenings together will be less ‘course’ and more ‘personal reflection’ in nature. After we have enjoyed the shared experience of watching a very human retelling of this powerful narrative, we will take time to notice what emerges from this portrayal. You will be invited to think, share and reflect together on your response to this re-telling of a familiar narrative and how it confirms, deepens or challenges your previous imagery and understanding of the Nativity.
