ST BONIFACE TRUST
Warminster, Wiltshire
Registered Charity No. 309500
St Boniface Trust, in partnership with Sarum College, has limited funds to offer a special grant for wellbeing breaks to help towards the cost of a short break away from home and work for the sake of physical, mental or spiritual health.
St Boniface is a small charity set up to advance the Christian Religion in accordance with the principles of the Anglican faith in all parts of the world, especially for the provision of education and training of clergy and lay people by the award of scholarships and maintenance allowances, or any purpose concerning their spiritual or temporal welfare.
This grant is for clergy in full-time ministry who are experiencing an unexpected difficulty or crisis in their ministry or personal life.
The funds are to help towards the cost of a short break away from their work situation for the sake of the applicant’s health – physical, mental or spiritual. The grant is offered in cooperation with Sarum College (subject to availability).
All applications will be treated in confidence: no references will be sought from a bishop or archdeacon, as is the case with grants we offer for other purposes.
For this grant, the Principal of Sarum College, The Revd Canon Professor James Woodward (jww@sarum.ac.uk), will review applications and forward it to the Trust. James would be happy to listen to your needs and discuss support possibilities with applicants in total confidence. Applications will be considered as quickly as possible to avoid delay for the wellbeing services. .
Please note that applications for a financial ‘top-up’ to help make ends meet, or to subsidise a holiday, will not be considered.
