Our vision is to provide high-quality flexible training for ministry (ordained or lay) that suits your lifestyle. Training that excites and inspires, that challenges and encourages growth.
Our blended learning uses online modules, residential weekends, smaller groups and your home context to create an integrated approach to your training, so you become effective in mission, ministry and leadership for the church today and in the future.
Residential weekends take place in the inspiring surroundings of Salisbury’s Cathedral Close in a place linked with theological learning over many centuries. Prior to the merger with Sarum College in February 2015, these courses were delivered through the Southern Education Training and Education Scheme (STETS).
Come and Meet Us
Prospective students may attend the Saturday morning of one of our residential weekends for a flavour of what Sarum College has to offer. There is an informal interview/conversation with an academic member staff, opportunity to sit in on a teaching session and to meet current students over lunch.
To attend or to visit at a mutually convenient time during the week, please email Annette Young (ayoung@sarum.ac.uk) and she will arrange the details with you.

Sarum Centre for Formation in Ministry Prospectus
"Sarum College provides high quality ministerial training in a local context. The academic theological offer is excellent and so is the preparation for the life and work of a priest. Those who trained here have a realistic sense of purpose that will serve them and the Church well."
