Dr Pollyanna Magne

Bio:

Dr Pollyanna Magne, a National Teaching Fellow (NTF) joined Sarum College in September 2024. She leads the programme in Spiritual Direction and offers Spiritual Accompaniment, Individually Guided Retreats (IGRs) and Supervision. She also leads sessions on Masters modules and the Short Courses at Sarum College.

Polly initially trained as a Spiritual Director at the Carmelite Priory in Aylesford, Kent where she then joined the course tutor team. She holds a Doctorate, Masters and Degrees in Religion, Education and Music. In her early career, Polly worked as a secondary teacher in faith schools where she led school worship and the design and facilitation of retreats for the young people and staff. She has worked in Higher Education since 2000 and as an Associate Professor Polly has trained upwards of two-thousand academics, health and charity sector professionals to deliver dynamic teaching, and to provide transformative learning opportunities.

Polly’s approach is dynamic and engaging. She is passionate about spirituality, faith and education. Her role as Director and ministry in Spiritual Accompaniment is built on the desire to enable others to explore their spirituality, deepen their faith and enrich their relationship with God.
