Reflection
Corona is something I enjoy seeing – when it’s an atmospheric optical phenomenon, rather than a brand of beer popular with those who leave empties on the local meadows.
It’s a partial corona. Caused by diffraction of sunlight by individual droplets of water. Each tiny bead of mist plays its part; each more-than reflects the glory of the dawn sun.
The dazzling beauty of every soul-that-is-to-be-saved depends on the Light of the Risen Christ. It is also His delight to give us the means to ‘do our bit’ – and sparkle.
We do not always see that beauty, either in each other or in ourselves. God does: always regarding us from the perspective of End-Time, where we do light up.

Our filthy dying flesh, which the Son of God took on himself, like Adam’s old work-rig – tight, threadbare, and too short – the Saviour transformed into something beautiful, fresh bright, and splendid: a coat of many colours. Prayer
Thank you, Lord,
for the trust You place in us – trust we so often poorly repay. Give us grace:
to start afresh each day;
and to accept those we meet
as likewise starting afresh,
and heaven-bound as we are,
through the loving power of Jesus Christ, the True Light.
