Queer Spirituality: An Introduction course
This course is an introduction to the idea of “queerness” as a way of experiencing, talking about, and growing to know God.
We will explore the meaning of queerness in the world of theology, and the real-life impacts it can have in the spiritual life. We will meet places where queerness could be transformative for the life of the church, and participants will be encouraged to think about how queer spirituality might impact upon their own lives and their communities.
This course is not solely for LGBTQIA people, although their spirituality will be explored and engaged with as a matter of priority. Participants will be given the opportunity to explore their own spiritual journeys in the light of queerness during interactive conversation.
