Yoga and Christian Practice Retreat course
The course connects the life and teachings of Jesus with the wisdom of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra, along with the practice of asana (postures), pranayama (breath) and dharana (meditation). We may also touch on the Yama and Niyama (codes of ethics).
The emphasis of the course is on practice and experience, and everyone will be invited to practice postures, breathwork (including chant) and meditation. The postures will be accessible to everyone – no experience necessary.
There will be teaching time along with Q&A and sharing of experience. Everyone will receive a practice to take home at the end of the course to enable them to continue to explore yoga and Christian practice.
