At first sight, it seems that one of these cows is patently facing the wrong way.
All the other animals, having gathered by the gate where their grazier would shortly arrive bearing nice extra tidbits (feed supplements), are lined up facing the way the great bearer of gifts will come.
On second thoughts, though, maybe the ‘outlier’ cow is the one creature which has turned in the right direction? ie facing the feeder where the good stuff will be placed IDC.
If so, then the cow apparently being contrary is actually looking to what will be. She is ready and waiting.
Don’t ever fit in so well to the culture around you that you automatically do as everyone else seems to. Fix your minds on God – and let yourselves be transformed from within.
Romans 12:2
In face of all the questions and doubts I might come up with, our kind Lord reassured me: ‘I have the power to make everything all right. I know how to do it. That is my intention.
I will do it.’
(Julian of Norwich, ‘A Revelation of Love’ Chapter 31)

Prayer
God, teach me to trust You:
to let You get on with Your business of sorting me out,
and sorting out everyone else,
in Your good time,
as You know best.
Because: You really do know better than me,
You want the very best for
and from us all,
and You’re in for the long haul, through our ultimate mentor,
Jesus Christ
Passion.
Amen

Action
Thinking long-term, the best form of physical exercise for us humans to go for (good for keeping mind and prayer-life in trim too) is usually the one we enjoy most. Because we’re more likely to stick with it.
